Bianca has many passions in life, giving each of them a 100%. She cares about others and wants to save young girls from thinking they’re not enough, presenting her own radio show and entering Miss South Africa. Her plate is full, but you won’t hear her complain one bit.
Bianca went through her fair share of heartbreak. A few years ago, she found herself in a toxic relationship. It was slowly killing her mentally and emotionally, to the point that it started to affect her physically too. Bianca had always had faith. But in that period of her life, she found the grace of God more than ever in her life. She handled it the only way she knew how. With faith.
“It was a very terrifying, yet liberating experience. It was not always good. I had a lot of doubt in myself and if I was hearing God correctly – but I constantly returned to His word and what it said about me, Him, and His promises that He had for me (that He has for each of us). The finality of driving out of the city I lived in at that time was bittersweet – I was disappointed with what once, or what I once hoped would be, but I was also so thankful that God brought me out of Egypt and that He was taking me to the Promise land.”
Of course, living in faith has its daily challenges. “Every day is a choice to believe the good or the bad, to believe what your insecurities, your fears, or your failures tell you, or to believe what God says about you, the life and promise He speaks over you. That is how I use my faith: I ignore the lies and choose the Truth. I choose to hope despite the hurt, to believe despite doubt, and to love despite pain.”
With her plate already full of goals, Bianca has decided to enter Miss South Africa. “I entered Miss SA because I have a passion for Women and getting them to rise up in empowerment, knowing and believing in their beauty, worth and strength. Women are an integral and dynamic part of humanity, we bring force, strength, compassion, love, and much more to society - we deserve to be held high, not trodden down. I believe the Miss SA platform will give me the opportunity to help make this happen for women, our values are the same and our mission of empowerment is the same.”
Many have told Bianca she should get her head out of the clouds and plant her feet on the ground. However, like aforementioned, Bianca is very strong-willed. Not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, even if it makes her unpopular and could cause her to possibly be rejected. she has a strong personality and if Bianca believes in something, nothing will make her falter.
Bianca is definitely a rebel in life. And the Rebel that inspires her the most, is her mom. “I would have to say, my Mother. She had a lot of insecurities as we all do, but she knew how to live life and live it fully. If she wanted something, she would put in everything to get it – she would exceed limitations. She inspires me every day to make the most of each day. To live and to do it fully. She is also the constant voice reminding me that nothing is impossible.”
Bianca wants the world to not only believe in her but also in themself. “The hardships in life do not have to define you, instead let it refine you. I have seen and experienced many heartaches that make me want to lose hope in humanity, but then I have also seen and experienced so much love and joy that makes me want to do my best to try and heal humanity.”
Bianca is one of the strongest Rebels we know. Also, the most fearless! She’s about to change the world and she doesn’t even know it.
